It looks like latest nova on github has migrated to cryptography and away from pycrypto. I've inspected the source code.

Yes, but there's no release with it, and the old release will be around for a while.  (I led the effort upstream to switch...)

Seems like you should patch the release in the tree to deprecate pycrypto.

for this bug... nova is already using cryptography
