![]() i assume it's http://web.inter.nl.net/users/eavdmeer/ because of google; no idea really That's not the same thing I guess... app-portage/ebuilder: Description: Package Builder for Gentoo Linux whereas http://web.inter.nl.net/users/eavdmeer/ : Ebuilder is a fast, efficient and easy to use tool for graphically designing widgets for the Qt GUI library. find me a real homepage then :p http://www.disinformation.ca/gentoo was the homepage, (has you can see in http://web.archive.org/web/20030423122036/www.disinformation.ca/gentoo/) The actual page in the ebuild (http://web.inter.nl.net/users/eavdmeer/) definitively is not the homepage. I prefer have a broken link (http://www.disinformation.ca/gentoo) against a link that it does not correspond. Maybe some time the developer of 'ebuilder' makes available again. >find me a real homepage then :p I did not find anything.. :( The AUTHORS file only says: Ebuilder: Written by Zach Forrest <zach@disinformation.ca> and is loosely based on mkebuild written by John Stalker. Can a SRC_URI have an email? (i dont think so) The last time that the CHANGELOG file was modified is: *ebuilder-0.4 (15 Mar 2002) So, i think its abandonware... should it persist in the tree? Just my $.2c I have to agree with Octavio, it is not OK to have a "HOMEPAGE" entry which obviously does not correspond to the package, therefor I am reopening this bug. So maybe it should be considered to contact the author, use an empty/invalid "HOMEPAGE", remove the ebuild or something like that. fine, put back to the 404-ed page re-open if you ever find a newer page; we'll probably just remove the package if bugs come up with it |
