Description António Meireles 2002-08-06 15:15:15 UTC
when trying to update htmldoc (as a part of the update world) i get this :

[root@mobile]$ emerge htmldoc
Calculating dependencies ...done!
>>> emerge app-text/htmldoc-1.8.20 to /
>>> md5 ;-) htmldoc-1.8.20-1-source.tar.bz2
>>> Unpacking source...
>>> Unpacking htmldoc-1.8.20-1-source.tar.bz2
/usr/sbin/ebuild.sh: /usr/portage/app-text/htmldoc/files/fonts.diff: No such
file or directory

!!! ERROR: The ebuild did not complete successfully.
!!! Function src_unpack, Line -159, Exitcode 1
!!! patch failed

!!! emerge aborting on  /usr/portage/app-text/htmldoc/htmldoc-1.8.20.ebuild .
[648|/usr/portage]

So, ot the rsync servers aren 't synced ( and i got this a few hours ago ) or
something is very wrong in the publishing process...

BTW when updating to last libdvdnav the ebuild also claims a missing file but
in this case it doesn 't bomb ...

keep the good work guys ...

Same here, I was just going to enter a bug report...
Comment 2 Nick Hadaway 2002-08-08 10:47:35 UTC
I just checked my cvs tree against the master server and everything appears to
be correct. Everything should be up to date. I would suggest updating one more
time and emerging. It seems rsync servers must have still been catching up.

emerge rsync
emerge htmldoc

Let me know if things work for you.
Comment 3 António Meireles 2002-08-08 11:44:59 UTC
sorry to say, but AFTER multiple rsyncs from several mirrors this particular
problem remains ... Please do note that i 'm not using CVS, and if this is
indeed a rsync delay, it is a *very* strange one since it persists for well over
72 hours ...

TIA
Comment 4 Nick Hadaway 2002-08-08 11:52:24 UTC
Re-added files/fonts.diff to cvs. It should be up on rsync soon.
Comment 5 António Meireles 2002-08-08 12:35:22 UTC
SOLVED ;-)

Thanxs and best regards
