Runtime testing required: ---
Attachments: Fuhquake ebuild , goes into /usr/portage/games-fps/fuhquake
Newer ebuild that should make it easier to store you pak files , inside /opt/fuhquake-0.31
This ebuild downloads spprogs.dat from zquake , to enable Single Player support

Description Pkunk 2004-08-20 01:23:45 UTC
The Makefile for this was probably the most user unfriendly.

So i had to tweak it a lot to get it working.

This ebuild even chucks out the default fuhquake CFLAGS , and uses your own CFLAGS . Tested and working great on ~x86.
The "tweaked" makefile *should* theoritically work even on amd64 , so amd64 users please try it and post if you have problems

P.S - Fuhquake rocks

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 69855 ***
Comment 5 Justin 2004-12-30 09:19:12 UTC
This ebuild actually builds fuhquake from source, whereas mine is the binary version, does this not constitute different ebuilds and therefore different bugs?
Comment 6 Mr. Bones. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-12-30 09:47:20 UTC
fair enough.

Spanky, what's up?
Comment 7 Joost van den Broek 2005-05-07 11:06:04 UTC
How can this be a duplicate, while it's opened before the other one? And, I really do like this self compiling ebuild, at least it works great for me! Don't understand why it didn't make it into portage..
Comment 8 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2005-05-07 21:48:14 UTC
this ebuild has no chance of going into portage as is due to its ugliness

source packages do not use /opt for one
Comment 9 Mr. Bones. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2011-12-10 07:28:32 UTC
games-fps/fuhquake-bin is gone.
