Over here there are some ebuild regarding Now Dock Panel of Plasma 5(.8 and above)

The repo provides a simple install bash script and whenever I tried to not use it, I had CMake configuration errors. So I execute the script and the ebuild compiles ok.

Can be installed via Plasmas get hot new stuff mechanism. No new dependencies compared to the plasma Desktop. Downstream packaging is not needed.

Actually, not the case here. Get hot new stuff, downloads a tarball with source code, which then the user has to compile and install *globally* bypassing the package manager.
