These three packages were added a long time ago and have been abandoned. The in-tree v1.6.4 dates to around January of 2012. In the past five years, there have been numerous upstream releases, including the major v2.0 which would require huge changes to bring into the tree and would essentially be a new package.

At least one of them is now having build problems in bug #555652.

We should get rid of the cruft for now, and then later -- if anyone cares -- bring back a newer version in better shape.
