Please find an updated ebuild for qpid-proton at
https://github.com/fourceu/qpid-portage-overlay/blob/master/net-misc/qpid-proton/qpid-proton-0.16.0.ebuild

My company has a vested interest in the Apache Qpid project; we have been maintaining our own overlay at the above github repo for nearly 2 years now and would like to introduce it to the main Gentoo repo. We would be happy to continue maintaining ebuilds for this project (and for the other qpid projects present in the same git repo).
