Pretty scare one, this buglet :) Upstream has confirmed this as a bug in libgcrypt 1.7.4. I really think a blocker should be added — if not an outright hard mask. Fix the regression
Add this patch and it should fix your problem. I will submit to upstream (if no one already did). Tested with gnupg (I had the same warning).
Basically, a test in the autoconf script uses EGAIN (which doesn't exist) instead of EAGAIN. The test in question will detect broken mlock which require root on some systems and core otherwise. But because it doesn't compile, it thinks that mlock is broken so it can only be used with root.
I couldn't post anything on the bug tracker so I sent an email to the maintainer. If anyone can please do. (In reply to Nicolas Porcel from comment #6) > I couldn't post anything on the bug tracker so I sent an email to the > maintainer. If anyone can please do. I posted a comment on the upstream report. Upstream has committed the fix, which will be included in libgcrypt 1.7.5. https://git.gnupg.org/cgi-bin/gitweb.cgi?p=libgcrypt.git;a=commit;h=0a90f87799903a3fb97189ef7cba19e7b3534e1c (In reply to Matt Whitlock from comment #8) > Upstream has committed the fix, which will be included in libgcrypt 1.7.5. > > https://git.gnupg.org/cgi-bin/gitweb.cgi?p=libgcrypt.git;a=commit; > h=0a90f87799903a3fb97189ef7cba19e7b3534e1c Thank you for the report and good upstream contact. 1.7.5 is expected to be released today so will include it in Gentoo ebuild repository and remove 1.7.4 once it hits libgcrypt 1.7.5 in tree https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=ea01453fe8f02c7c112ee493278eccabdb5815b0 Never affecting stable version, closing |
