Also in samba-4.5.2 Also in samba-4.5.2 This is a known issue as samba upstream uses a bundled heimdal which has changes that make it incompatible to the official heimdal. In >=samba-4.5.4 I have disabled the possibility to compile samba against system-heimdal until samba upstream finally gets their stuff right. |
The build hits a compile error when trying to build addc. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.emerge heimdal and other samba dependencies 2.set use flags -system-mitkrb5 addc -ads -ldap 3.emerge samba Actual Results: The build ends with [1877/3010] Compiling source4/kdc/kdc-heimdal.c ../source4/kdc/kdc-heimdal.c: In function ‘kdc_task_init’: ../source4/kdc/kdc-heimdal.c:376:12: error: ‘krb5_kdc_configuration’ has no member named ‘as_use_strongest_session_key’ kdc_config->as_use_strongest_session_key = false; ^ ../source4/kdc/kdc-heimdal.c:378:12: error: ‘krb5_kdc_configuration’ has no member named ‘tgs_use_strongest_session_key’ kdc_config->tgs_use_strongest_session_key = false; I've actually created a patched ebuild that will build against the internal heimdal without pulling in extra dependencies which I've added to bug 594130 which is against samba-4.5.0. I'm creating this new bug to confirm it hasn't been fixed in 4.5.1. That bug 594130 is still marked as unconfirmed.
