I think I ran into that issue with GCC 6.2.0 try compiling it with 5.4.0 instead if you haven't. Scratch that; misremembered, but might be worth a try anyway. @Sen B.: Look at my emerge.info. I tried to compiled thunderbird with gcc-5.40. You could test with 2.26-r1 and report your findings. Ok, I can compile mail-client/thunderbird-45.5.0 with gcc-5.4.0 and the binutils-2.27 with the gold-linker. It is not possible to build mail-client/thunderbird-45.5.0 with gcc-6.2.0 and with the bfd-linker. If you feel I have closed your bug and it is still a current issue, please reopen and update it completely. We will not work bugs that have no ebuild in tree any longer or can not be reproduced with a current system. Thank You for your support and understanding The Mozilla Team |
