Description Anton Gubarkov 2016-11-14 18:57:03 UTC
before the upgrade to 3.22 I could press Ctrl-Alt-Del when focused on VM viewer and this key sequnce was processed by the VM. Now Gnome takes over and proposes a host system restart.

I can no longer switch the keyboard layouts in windows guest VM with Alt-Shift. Ctrl-Shift works fine.

The Super (or Windows) key can no longer be process by a VM, always triggers overview in Gnome.

I would try to report this at first to virt-manager upstream as I am unsure it is ready for wayland at all :/
Comment 2 Pacho Ramos gentoo-dev 2016-11-30 12:14:38 UTC
Is this still happening or was fixed with the latest gtk+ version fixing other wayland issues?
Comment 3 Anton Gubarkov 2016-11-30 13:38:19 UTC
This problem stays after gtk+ upgrade.
Comment 4 Matthias Maier gentoo-dev 2017-09-01 02:06:01 UTC
Can you please test version 1.4.2?
Comment 5 Anton Gubarkov 2017-09-02 13:23:51 UTC
It behaves the same in 1.4.2.
I can't use Alt-Shift in Windows guest to switch En/Ru keyboards.
Comment 6 Matthias Maier gentoo-dev 2019-07-01 16:22:50 UTC
Can you please test again with version 2.2.0 (soon in tree)?
