Created attachment 453230 [details] emerge --info per bug submittal requirement Compilation of hardened-sources-4.8.7 fails at kernel/power/snapshot.c. The function clear_free_pages is duplicated. If the first (incomplete if CONFIG_PAX_MEMORY_SANITIZE is not defined) is commented out, the compilation completes successfully. It appears that neither definition of clear_free_pages is included in the canonical source tree of 4.8.7. Best wishes, Bob Gleitsmann
