Patch to allow saving of games
You'll need this to save games; the game crashes if you try to load a saved
games from a previous instance.
I wouldn't worry too much about this ebuild... just here for those that might
be interested.
You can close this report; prboom-2.3.1 has been released which fixes these bugs. Nah, I'll just change the summary. ;-) Version 2.3.1 is called experimental on the prboom homepage, and I have not tried it. But how about adding version 2.2.6, which is the current stable one? It seems to work quite well. I copied the ebuild and the nvidia-patches to 2.2.6 and deleted the gcc patch line, because it does not apply and is not needed anymore. Which ebuild did you copy? Just copy the existing 2.2.4-prboom.ebuild to 2.2.6-prboom.ebuild along with the two nvidia files (renaming them to 2.2.6-blah) and it compiles and works fine. I see no reason for such an ebuild to not be put into portage as soon as possible. As prboom 2.3.1 is experimental, I will not put the 2.3 in the tree for now. So it should be WONTFIX. Open a new bug when 2.3 will be declared stable But as we have prboom 2.2.6 in CVS just now, I close this bug with FIXED :) I really don't care one way or another... this bug was opened 8/2004... prboom is not going to be stable anytime soon... but if it makes you happy :-) |
