Arch teams, please stabilize openrc-0.22.3. Stable on alpha. Arch teams, stable 0.22.4 instead of 0.22.3-r1. This includes a fix for a seg fault under SELinux. Possibly this is more an etc-update issue or the fact that I'm just getting too old and don't remember it but this update to openrc asked me to update /etc/conf.d/modules which, using etc-update anyway, proceeded to remove all my virtualbox modules along with nvidia and agpgart. I do not remember this happening on previous updates. -modules="agpgart nvidia vboxdrv vboxnetadp vboxnetflt" (In reply to Mark Knecht from comment #4) > Possibly this is more an etc-update issue or the fact that I'm just getting > too old and don't remember it but this update to openrc asked me to update > /etc/conf.d/modules which, using etc-update anyway, proceeded to remove all > my virtualbox modules along with nvidia and agpgart. > > I do not remember this happening on previous updates. > > -modules="agpgart nvidia vboxdrv vboxnetadp vboxnetflt" That sounds more like an etc/update issue than an OpenRC issue. If you modify /etc/conf.d/modules, you have to make sure you carry the updates forward if a new version comes down in the update. That's true with any file that is config_protected. I moved this to stable on amd64. x86 stable arm stable Dear Maintainer (or who is mainly involved in this stable request), This is an auto-generated message that will move the current component to the new component Stabilization.
