/var/tmp/portage/x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-361.28/work/kernel/nvidia/os-mlock.c:119:11: error: too many arguments to function ‘get_user_pages’
Comment 1 Norman Shulman 2016-10-18 18:02:09 UTC
Same for

x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-364.12-r1
x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-364.15
x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-364.19
x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-367.57
x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-370.28
Comment 2 Frank Krömmelbein 2016-10-18 18:10:05 UTC
Same here.

These versions fail with the same error:
x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-361.42
x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-361.45.18
x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-364.12-r1
x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-364.19
x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-367.18

And with these versions, the pax patch fails to apply:
x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-367.27
x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-367.35-r1
x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-367.57
Comment 3 Frank Krömmelbein 2016-10-26 19:01:01 UTC
The combination of sys-kernel/hardened-sources-4.7.10 and
x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-367.57 now works for me.

Same here. Probably this bug can be closed now.

But I also should notice nvidia-drivers-367.57 compiles 2-4 times slower (use just one CPU Core and build a lot of *_test.c files, which looks useless at a glance) and also force me to switch off CONFIG_PAX_RAP.
