Version 1.20.0 is a bit too new to get stabilized yet. hwoarang and I agreed to stabilize version 1.18.3 instead. Arches please test and mark stable =x11-misc/lightdm-1.18.3 with target KEYWORDS: amd64 arm ~arm64 ~ppc ~ppc64 x86 (In reply to Lars Wendler (Polynomial-C) from comment #1) > Version 1.20.0 is a bit too new to get stabilized yet. hwoarang and I agreed > to stabilize version 1.18.3 instead. I have been running 1.20.0 for more than a month with no issues. I do not doubt that and if lightdm-1.20.0 is working fine for you, there's no reason to go back to 1.18.3 But upstream considers the 1.18.x branch being the latest stable one and we simply wanna follow upstream's decision here. For the record, 1.18 will be supported for a long time until April 2021 and 1.20 only until July 2017. So there's no reason to stabilize 1.20.
