@Toralf Förster: Would you be able to try a potential fix before committing it portage? I updated to newer Contrib revision and made sfm hard depend on gflags and glog. sfm is also a separate use flag now due to those depends. The -r6 revision is here: https://github.com/dracwyrm/gentoo-ebuilds/tree/master/media-libs/opencv There's an added patch to make it CUDA 8 compatible. Stressing that ebuild should hopefully find any other issues. I have compiled this with GCC 6, so it should work with that at least. It's a start. There's also been issues with Tesseract support that I'm hoping I fixed as well. Thanks. Created attachment 452438 [details]

I accidentally left a debug statement in while I was testing the ebuild. I had it at the close of the install phase, since this hit "die" at the end of the install phase, then the initial bug report should be fixed! Thanks again. PS. So embarrassed. (In reply to Toralf Förster from comment #10) > Created attachment 452458 [details] > emerge-info.txt > > and here's probably another issue Does the ebuild you're using have a die statement in the src_install phase, like this: src_install() { cmake-utils_src_install # Build and install the python modules for all targets use python && python_foreach_impl python_module_compile die } That was the debug code I left in. (In reply to Jon from comment #14) yes (In reply to Toralf Förster from comment #15) md5sum opencv-3.1.0-r6.ebuild 0861a23e60531bb075f18def3843ab75 opencv-3.1.0-r6.ebuild (In reply to Toralf Förster from comment #15) > (In reply to Jon from comment #14) > yes Yeah. Ooops. That "die" isn't supposed to be there. XD I had updated the ebuild a couple of days ago to remove that. So sorry that was in there. https://github.com/dracwyrm/gentoo-ebuilds/tree/master/media-libs/opencv This should be fixed in OpenCV 3.1.0-r6. Thanks for your help in finding this bug. |
