Description Agostino Sarubbo gentoo-dev 2016-10-10 07:54:42 UTC
From https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1382668:

Qemu emulator(Qemu) built with the USB EHCI emulation support is vulnerable
to a memory leakage flaw. It could occur while processing isochronous transfer
descriptors(iTD), with buffer page select(PG) index that falls beyond buffer
page array area.

A privileged user inside guest could use this flaw to leak Qemu memory bytes
leading to a DoS on the host.

From https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1382666:

Quick Emulator built with the Virtio GPU Device support is vulnerable to a
memory leakage issue. It could occur while processing virtio GPU command
VIRTIO_GPU_CMD_RESOURCE_CREATE_2D.

A privileged user/process inside guest could use this flaw to exhaust host
memory resulting in DoS.
