Description Georg Schild 2004-08-07 00:25:45 UTC
I have installed synaptics-0.13.3 and when upgrading to 0.13.4 emerge fails when it wants to patch the package for amd64. The patch needed cannot be found in /portage/x11-misc/synaptics/files/synaptics-0.13.4-amd64.patch. My $PORTDIR is set to /portage with all the subdirectories like tmp, distfiles etc.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge synaptics
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Here the exact output from emerge synaptics:

$ emerge synaptics

New patch is in CVS now.
Comment 2 eipi 2004-12-29 13:07:54 UTC
synaptics-0.13.4 works for me
Comment 3 Georg Schild 2004-12-30 00:36:04 UTC
0.13.4 is some months old now and the problem was fixed after a few days in cvs. closing it
