Testing the bug with a test attachment here.

I cannot attach files on the Bugzilla site for Gentoo.

Couldn't submit initial bug report while the attachment field was active. The submit button was just ignoring clicks. Once "Don't add an attachment" button used it works again.

Adding an attachment afterwords fails as well. Same issue while trying to attach a file from my system (submit button does right nothing) BUT also pasting text fails too! Cannot paste *anything* into the input field. Field has no cursor too.

Browser: Firefox ESR 38.4.0
 System: Linux 4.1.12-gentoo x86_64

PS: Would try on Opera 12 but it's continuously crashing while trying to paste the link from Firefox to Opera.

Seems to work fine as seen above though?

Having a break from the issue after multiple hours of fiddling (in fact with another problem) helps allot. In fact also didn't expected the (mouse buffer) copy&paste facility to be restrictive for "root --//--> user" from one terminal to another (or browser). I'm used to something else.

TLDR:
You cannot copy & paste from a root terminal into a unprivileged application.

Sorry for the trouble/noise.
