I tried to just rename everything, but the koutput patch would not apply. When I skipped that everything seems to work though. OpenGL vendor string: NVIDIA Corporation OpenGL renderer string: GeForce FX 5900/AGP/SSE/3DNOW! OpenGL version string: 1.5.1 NVIDIA 61.11 Uh oh. In the changelog they say nvidia-settings has been updated, however there is no new tarball at their site, the latest still appears to be 1.0. Actually, upon further investigation and talking to some people, it looks like they simply reuploaded without changing the version number. I will get to this in a few hours... Scrap that... they just went into CVS nVidia have changed the version so it now takes a SYSOUT parameter for the kouput directory (similar to the 6106 patch we had for this). They have also added the appropriate includes. Have tested this under x86 and amd64; gl here seems about 50fps slower with glxgears though :( amd64 mark as you will. What are you going to do about nvidia-settings? Pretty soon people are going to be getting broken digests because 1.0 is different than it used to be. See nvidia-settings-1.0.6111 which I just commited to cvs. Basically I just manually mirrored the tarball for now until nvidia does something. OK done and done... |
