I did much the same so haven't attached my ebuild but here's the digest.
i'm assuming that since 2.4.19 is now in portage someone either accepted this update (and didnt close the bug) or just did one themseleves (and didnt see this submission) either way, we now have vanilla-2.4.19 :) |
(1) copied vanilla-sources-2.4.18.ebuild (2) updated mentions of 2.4.18 to 2.4.19 (3) for some reason 2.4.19.tar.bz2 off of kernel.org expands into the directory 'linux-2.4.19' rather than the normal 'linux' ... so i commented out the 3rd line in src_unpack() ... 'mv linux linux-${KV} || die' guess i should put this in a changelog ... but ill leave that to the developer who actually verifies the ebuild ;)
