in cvs. thanks! esearch does in fact build fine, but the esync functionality does not work: malibu:/ root# esync * Importing old portage tree * Doing '/usr/bin/emerge sync' now * Error: '/usr/bin/emerge sync' failed, see /var/log/emerge-sync.log for errors malibu:/ root# cat /var/log/emerge-sync.log sh: line 1: /usr/bin/emerge: No such file or directory malibu:/ root# which emerge /usr/lib/portage/bin//emerge malibu:/ root# echo $PATH /bin:/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/lib/portage/bin/ Esync needs to be updated to use whatever emerge is in $PATH, not /usr/bin/emerge. It'll be fixed in the next installer. (portage itself installs /usr/bin/emerge) Closing out bugs that've been resolved for a while now... |
