![]() qupzilla-1.x and qtwebkit are obsolete. Can we keyword qupzilla-2.x and qtwebengine instead? (if they work on ppc) I went for qupzilla-2.0.1 first but qtwebengine-5.6.1 failed to build on my machine (PowerMac G5 7,3). As per comment #1, there's no point doing this as I would intend to stabilise 2.0.1 soon and drop old 1.8.9. Sorry about that. No big deal. It's understandable to go directly for 2.0.1. However qtwebengine-5.6.1 (which is not keyworded either) is preventing this atm. Maybe I'll find time to do an upstream bugreport. AFAIK QT 5.6.x is a LTS, so there's hope for fixing this build issue. Did an upstream bugreport concerning the build problem of qtwebengine-5.6.1 ** on my machine. https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-56465 says "Qt WebEngine doesn't support powerpc, since Chrome/Chromium does not." Therefore qupzilla-2.0.x won't build on ppc either. Unless Chromium supports powerpc at some day. |
