When does this need to be done by? The stable plan for Plasma 5.7.x will most likely target 5.7.5, with expected stabilisation date around 2016-10-13 .

If that's too far off, we can backport the fix to 5.6.5 and stabilise that instead.

It turns out we are not able to backport to 5.6.5, since the upstream changes didn't land until 5.7.x.

I think it will be safe to make an exception to our usual plan, so please feel free to stabilise.
