This bug is similar to bug 30702, but it's for a different package.

The file belongs to the package dev-libs/libcdio.

I have not noticed any software working incorrectly because of this, but I don't like seeing error/warning messages.

please provide the output of 'emerge info' and try to figure out when this Error occurs, i.e. while merging which package and also provide the version. otherwise troubleshooting is nearly impossible.

This seems to have been fixed silently in the meantime. Cannot reproduce it on my system anymore.

It's OK with me if you mark this as fixed (I don't seem to have the option here to fix it).  Sascha says it's fixed, so it probably is.  I don't have libcdio on my system anymore (I forget what I had it for) so I can't easily check anything anyway.
