- A basic RSS reader which uses libmrss.

- Fix a crash when removing lots of columns (something changed in GTK).
- Optional and non-default support for validating SSL certs.
- Remove all GTK2 support.

Confirming the archive tarball is a proper autoconf release tarball.

The 1.2 tarball still has bug #584152 in the Makefile. It was fixed in the 6272a7 commit.

dev-libs/appstream-glib was added as a dependency.

Have tried the ebuild. Seems to be ok for me. But it will be better to add 'rss' use-flag witch adds --with-libmrss and RDEPEND for net-libs/libmrss .

I've made 9999 ebuild which takes last snapshot from master branch cause it has some important fixes. For example it fixes an error with download target. See #560164

Thanks for the feedback. My original intention was only to port the 1.1.1 version to 1.2.

Hi,

I feel, that a pre 1.2 version is outdated if there is a 1.2 release. Also, will you take care of the patches submitted here?
