To say this first: We are working on an KPA port to KF5. Really. But we have very limited manpower, so this will probably take some time ;-)

So, KPA 4.7.1 fails to build without USE="kipi" set. Unsetting this was the only way for me to avoid the current block of kde-apps/libkipi-15.08.3-r1 against kde-apps/libkipi-15.12.3, that's why I found this.

I fixed the issue with commit #6455e21 (cf. https://quickgit.kde.org/?p=kphotoalbum.git&a=commitdiff&h=6455e21ee1e1d52e9bd35e61f776031d37ca1b6c ), but I can't tell you if we will do a bugfix release of KPA including this patch soonish (or ever, as we do have to focus on the KF5 port now).

So it would be nice if this patch was added to the tree as an -r1 release or so.
