It seems to render correctly for me (1.1.1 on this computer) and I don't seem to have speed problems. Did you make sure that enough fonts were configured through spadmin? spadmin lists the same fonts for both 1.1.0 and 1.1.1: I find 10 Bitstream Vera fonts followed by 4 LucidaBright, 4 LucidaSans, 4 LucidaTypewriter and one opensymbol. Changing the variables font from the default Times New Roman to one of the bitstream fonts makes the accents render correctly. Adding truetype (rg timesi.ttf) fonts for times via spadmin also corrects the problem. This apparently wasn't necessary in 1.1.0 ? OOo deals with font setup through spadmin, so this is not a bug |
