New cpus like Skylake-DP (aka Xeon E5v5) and KNL (Aka Intel Xeon Phi 72xx)
has new instruction sets AVX512 family. So it may be good to add 

avx512f avx512pf avx512er avx512cd
to cpu_flags_x86.desc

Can I convince you to prepare a patch for profiles? Just copy the names from [1], update the masks and don't forget that embedded people are special and need a second copy of everything.

media-libs/babl-0.1.18 started using "f16c" flag that is also missing in the current description. /proc/cpuinfo reports it under the same name.
