Thanks for the note. I am already working on the port. will be committed to portage as soon as cl-* ports are known to build (package locks are new in 0.8.13 and 19a) progress is here http://dev.gentoo.org/~mkennedy/dev-lisp-package-lock.list I run all four "major" LISP environments (CMUCL, CLISP, GCL and SBCL) on at least one of my machines. I would prefer to have only CMUCL, but CLISP is the only open source "real LISP" that works on Windows, so I have that for compatibility testing. By the way, when you upgrade to CMUCL 19a, you have to recompile all LISP code that's compiled to FASL. Does the "Common LISP Controller" take care of this? yes it does. added to portage |
