You can save this ebuild as:

/usr/local/portage/x11-plugins/superkaramba-liquidweather++/superkaramba-liquidweather++-3.4.4.ebuild


Then add this to /etc/make.conf:
PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage"

Several improvements:
- if the 'unicode' use flag is set, we convert all language files from
  ISO-8859-1 to UTF-8 (=unicode).
- adds French translation for 'Blowing snow and windy' (still missing in
  other languages)
- various cleanups.

The conversion of messages to Unicode was correct after all, but only for the
"<DIALOGS>" section in the language file. So I reintroduced it, as well as some
logic to extract and convert this section separately.

Some testing is needed to ensure all messages with accents are displayed
properly. For now, at least, what I've seen of French is correct :-)

I've created an ebuild for v8.9.2 based on the karamba-time ebuild, independently from the ebuild created here. Some stuff from both ebuilds could be merged into a more complete ebuild

Should this ebuild be removed now that the superkaramba manages themes directly?

Oops, didn't realize it was just in my local portage.

Anyways, this bug should probably be closed since superkaramba can manage it's own themes.
