As I read in upstream homepage, this is not longer needed: Now all this stuff is implemented by samsung_laptop kernel module https://code.google.com/archive/p/easy-slow-down-manager/ Looks like this is pulled in by app-laptop/samsung-tools, CCing that maintainer for comment. (In reply to Michael Palimaka (kensington) from comment #5) > Looks like this is pulled in by app-laptop/samsung-tools, CCing that > maintainer for comment. Yep it is pulled in, however I would like to check if samsung-tools will work with out easy-slow-down-manager. My guess is that it should... I have run a test merge of "app-laptop/samsung-tools-2.3.1" with "easy-slow-down-manager" dependency removed. No build time issues. I am going to test the functionally over the next few days. Upstream also do not list this as a dependency anymore (In reply to Brendan Horan from comment #7) > I have run a test merge of "app-laptop/samsung-tools-2.3.1" with > "easy-slow-down-manager" dependency removed. > No build time issues.
