what version of boost do you have installed ? i'm assuming it builds fine if you do USE=-cxx. (In reply to SpanKY from comment #2) > what version of boost do you have installed ? dev-libs/boost-1.61.0 With these USE flags: context debug doc icu mpi +nls python static-libs +threads tools > i'm assuming it builds fine if you do USE=-cxx. I just tried it, that also fails. Slightly differently. I'll attach a build.log. Created attachment 438628 [details]

(In reply to Gary E. Miller from comment #3) if you have boost 1.61.0 installed, why does the log say: -- Boost version: 1.52.0 and why does the build show: In file included from /usr/include/boost-1_51/boost/test/test_tools.hpp:21:0, seems to me your system is messed up Those orphaned files look to be from the days of SLOTed boost. Please re-emerge boost and retry. (In reply to David Seifert from comment #6) > Those orphaned files look to be from the days of SLOTed boost. Please > re-emerge boost and retry. This bug is over a year old. I gave up on this package a long time ago. |
