Kentoo is a KDE Control Center module providing a frontend to Gentoo's portage system. It currently supports the following features:
 
 * Syncing 
 * Emerging system or world 
 * emerging of selected packages
 * * Injecting and masking of packages via context menu

This is now in Portage for ~x86, I am reassigning this bug to the ppc-team in order to certify there as the submitted ebuild indicates that it also works there.

I have a ppc and I have tested kentoo on it (in fact, I didn't test kentoo on x86).

Please update version to 0.4 (old ebuild works fine).

new version in cvs both masked stable on ppc

I have emerge kentoo-0.4 without problem.

I have test on kde-3.3

Kentoo 04. does not work on kde 3.4.1 it deos not install the kentoo binary and 
installs the libs in /usr/lib/kde3.3
