I confirm this installing gentoo prefix on gentoo with apr-1.5.2, which seems to be exactly the same as the reporter's environment. The same happens when installing apr-1.5.0-r2 or apr-1.5.1-r1 Workaround: downgrade libtool to 2.4.2-r1 :) $ emerge =sys-devel/libtool-2.4.2-r1
[ebuild UD ] sys-devel/libtool-2.4.2-r1 [2.4.6-r2] USE="-static-libs% {-test%}"
[blocks B ] <sys-devel/libtool-2.4.3-r2:2 ("<sys-devel/libtool-2.4.3-r2:2" is blocking dev-libs/libltdl-2.4.6)

Seems I will better wait for a proper fix of "some package".
I am affected by this as well. Running a Gentoo prefix on macOS Sierra. apr is the package that bombs currently. $ emerge =sys-devel/libtool-2.4.2-r1 This seems to work as a workaround. I have the same problem and I cannot apply workaround: # emerge --ask --oneshot =sys-devel/libtool-2.4.2-r1 These are the packages that would be merged, in order: Calculating dependencies... done! emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "=sys-devel/libtool-2.4.2-r1". (In reply to Philippe Michaud-Boudreault from comment #6) > I am affected by this as well. Running a Gentoo prefix on macOS Sierra. > apr is the package that bombs currently. I've installed apr-1.7.0-r1 on macOS Big Sur successfully. Is this still an issue? |
