![]() Hello all and thanks to klieber for this announcement. We, expose and me, are just working on a new project, which will reanimate stats.gentoo.org. I hope we'll work good together - no, I'm sure. :) Yours sincerely, Alex I gave him the staff quiz at http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/devrel/quiz I'll take this one when he's ready. After discussions with recruiters, we have decided to deny your application for the present time. If you wish to reapply at a later date, you may do so. Hmmm... a reason would be fine. so the devs are no more interested in the amount of packages installed on each system? (klieber told me that this would be the most important part and we have implemented it.) Or is it the fact, that it would be impossible to calculate the mergetimes correctly for each ~arch? well... I've decided to continue the project and it would be really nice, if we could place our client-tool into the portage, in the future... After long discussions, I hope Alexander does meet our standards. He is very motivated and really wants to get the stats project official. closing shouldn't have been reopened. Sejo, talk to me before you close bugs from now on. Alex, if you are interested, come talk to me on irc. For various reasons,a lot of people do not want him as a developer. With knowing that, I think that we need to close this bug, and leave it closed. Personally, I think that given the chance, he could do well, but I don't think that we should upset so many devs by bringing on someone that a lot of devs would be unhappy with. Apparently restricting this was a big deal to some people. I've dropped the group because there's really nothing particularly sensitive here. |
