Hm, this smells a bit fishy to me... Why isn't this on the GNU mirrors and why isn't it announced on GNU.org? it may, but the README in bash-2.05b and bash-3.0 both end with this: Chet Ramey chet@po.cwru.edu i thought bash was dead upstream and that's why we never sent any patches upstream ... oh, and the topic in #bash on irc.freenode.net says bash-3.0 released :) bam it's settled, i want some 3.0 loving :) Workin' on it It's in portage, all patches either integrated into master gentoo patch or dropped if they are no longer applicable lewk, it's kinda useless to add yourself to a RESOLVED FIXED bug, don't you think? Eh, I was about to make an update for this issue, but then it got resolved and I forgot to take myself off. No big deal. Seems people are having problems fetching this from the mainsite and it's not on any of ours mirrors yet, so I've added to distfiles-local to be propagated. aran: sometimes bugs get reopened when the new version has problems *shrug* |
