Was this a clean install? Or might you have had NQP or Rakudo still have installed from a previous run? well - pls look at the attached emerge-history - ~ 9,000 packages installed - so maybe a side effect ? Ahh, thanks, I overlooked the emerge-history. Never noticed that before. Well, it might very well be a side effect. But given the fragile nature of the Perl6 software (MoarVM, NQP and Rakudo), as well as the fact that I cannot reproduce the issue, I have the strong suspicion that NQP or MoarVM don't play nice with hardened. nqp is now at versions 2018+, please re-open if this issue is still valid. ( Especially given hardened support is dying too ) |
