Why did you file this as a security issue? You are probably looking for USE=compat. compat : Install symlinks for legacy names of the tools Mike is correct -- this is WAI assuming you built with USE=-compat (which is hard to tell as you didn't attach build logs to your report like all are supposed to) (In reply to Mike Gilbert from comment #1) > Why did you file this as a security issue? Sorry, this was not my intention. Thanks to SpanKY and Mike Gilbert, the missing compat USE flag for dosfstools was the reason. With compat I have now again dosfsck. |
