This should be fixed in metasploit by not depending on tzinfo-data. In Gentoo we have chosen to reuse the existing timezone files installed by sys-libs/timezone-data rather then depending on an extra set of timezone files that may or may not be in sync with timezone-data, possibly leading to weird timezone bugs. Seems easy enough to fix to not require. Plus I asked upstream to stop adding fake deps. https://github.com/rapid7/metasploit-framework/issues/6967 |
