zip 2.1 comes with the mac os x panther system. Is there really a need to upgrade to 2.3? Doing so without overwriting any mac os files would mean we'd need a g<util> ebuild for zip, which is not trivial most of the time. Closing this bug; if there's a good reason to have the updated version, just reopen the bug and explain. :) Closing out bugs that've been resolved for a while now... |
