When I try emerge --update world ncurses don`t compile.
In file included from ../ncurses/curses.priv.h:115,
                 from ../ncurses/tinfo/comp_expand.c:33:
/usr/include/signal.h:236: internal compiler error: Segmentation fault

upgrade your toolchain and then we'll see what the problem is

your gcc / glibc / binutils is pretty outdated
