Mplayer throws out an error when trying to play a video saying with the following:

Error opening/initializing the selected video_out (-vo) device

This happens for the following video devices: x11, xvidix
Appears to work properly with gl2, except when in double size or full screen

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.  Emerge mplayer 1.0_pre5-r2
2.  Start playing a video using the x11 video device.
3.



Expected Results:  
Worked properly.

hmm, gl2 seems to work fullscreen here.

Also, can you paste the error messages your getting?

Please provide more information regarding the issue as discussed in the
above comment.
