Description Faye Pearson 2004-07-24 06:40:47 UTC
bootstrap.sh uses portage.py, line 21 imports missingos which is missing.
I commented it out and used lchown=os.lchown and it seemed to be happy, but I'm sure it's not used for a reason :)

If it is amd64 specific, you need to CC them. The "livecd" team is one person right now, and that's me... ;]
Comment 2 Faye Pearson 2004-07-30 10:20:33 UTC
I'm not sure it is amd64 specific actually - I haven't installed any other 2004.2 systems. I figure this a problem similar to the missing perl which does affect all systems. Removing the amd64 specific flag.

did you try 2004.3? or was it a typo and you actually did try to install 2004.3? i can't confirm that for 2004.2

Use 2004.3. 2004.2 is deprecated now.
