nano, compiled with USE=-magic, able to open this empty file. (i tried all, 2.4.3-9999). Adding magic USE back makes the problem return. what version of file are you using ? make sure you're using not still on file-5.26. apparently, i'm still on 5.26. Should be 5.26-r1? update to file-5.26-r1 fixed nano[magic]. Sorry about the noise. Can be closed. |
