same result here: 5.5.1 compiles, 5.6.0 fails as reported I experienced the same issue and was able to workaround it by adding the *gstreamer* use flag to the package. /etc/portage/package.use/qtwebkit-bug-580972 =dev-qt/qtwebkit-5.6.0 gstreamer The work around: /etc/portage/package.use/qtwebkit-bug-580972 =dev-qt/qtwebkit-5.6.0 gstreamer Worked for me. I can confirm this bug too. Indeed emerging with gstreamer USE enabled is a workaround to this problem. Thanks, this was fixed in git by Davide. https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=219be92692f4a9388e1c185eb5d5b90233fe543e |
