shadow-4.3.0.ebuild.diff
they had posted an 4.3.0 tarball before for testing that was broken, but they didn't post a follow up message to indicate they fixed things. i'll take a look. yeah, that's a tag in the github repo, but it hasn't shown up in debian's repo, and there isn't an actual release tarball either: http://pkg-shadow.alioth.debian.org/releases/ i'm not keep on using tags out of github since they lack generated autotools. here's the release thread: https://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/pkg-shadow-devel/2016-March/010918.html so i'm just going to keep deferring to upstream sorts things out. Sounds good, and thanks for the pointers into the upstream issues. i've gotten them to start adding proper release tarballs in GH. the first one is shadow-4.4. will look into this, or get some fixes for 4.4.1. |
