Created attachment 434956 [details, diff] Patch fixing build issue Patch taken from: https://jira.mariadb.org/browse/MDEV-9479 fixed problem for me. Thanks for that patch, but where will I have to put the epatch command into the ebuild? Inserting the following: src_prepare(){ # bug 580324 boost problems epatch "${FILESDIR}/${PV}-fix-ftbfs-boost1.60.patch" } just in front of src_configure(){...} generates the following error message: ... >>> Unpacking mysql-extras-20160131-0252Z.tar.bz2 to /var/tmp/portage/dev-db/mariadb-10.1.14/work >>> Source unpacked in /var/tmp/portage/dev-db/mariadb-10.1.14/work >>> Preparing source in /var/tmp/portage/dev-db/mariadb-10.1.14/work/mysql ... * Applying 10.1.14-fix-ftbfs-boost1.60.patch ... To apply such a patch, follow https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki//etc/portage/patches#Adding_user_patches Thanks, the patch is applied now, but I get another error later in the code. I'm trying to understand and leave a message a bit later. Sorry, I used some time, but I couldn't find something useful for me: The build logs are attached. Created attachment 435516 [details]
