www-client/firefox-45.0.1 fails to compile on my laptop (but compiled fine on my desktop) due to the following errors:

It seems (see [1]) that >=media-libs/libvpx-1.4.0 is necessary. Are you still
using media-libs/libvpx-1.3.0?

Yes, I am. I'll emerge 1.4.0 now.

Okay, so that did the trick. I first had to unmerge www-client/firefox-43.0 so that I could emerge 1.4.0.

Closing as this version has been dropped and newer ones need a newer libvpx
